America's favorite alien abduction case is on shaky ground as Mike Rogers, one of the witnesses and driver of the truck, admits it was a hoax.

My theory that Mike and Travis were in on the hoax (along with Travis's brother Duane) seems to be correct. Time will tell how exactly the hoax was perpetrated visually - it seems Mike may not even know (or remember) - but the important thing about this case was always that Mike knew exactly where to park his truck, knew how long to let the other guys see the UFO (a few seconds), and knew when to peel outta there before the others got out to investigate.

And this resulted in five credible witnesses who absolutely believed they'd seen a UFO. Which resulted in a payout from the National Inquirer. A job well done.
