THE EXPERTS |
Maussan's team has not sought the opinion of any scientists who would actually be qualified to assess the mummies: anthropologists, archaeologists, bio-archaeologists, mummy experts, ancient Peruvian cultural experts. Or, if their opinions were sought, they certainly have not been reported.
A list of experts who have proclaimed the mummies fake (their work is cited here on my website - follow the links above):
A list of experts who have proclaimed the mummies fake (their work is cited here on my website - follow the links above):
- Antropogenez: anthropologists from Russia - Josefina and Alberto are constructed from human and animal bones; the giant hands are a random assortment of human bones.
- Julien Benoit (paleontologist at University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg) - Maria's tridactyl hands were created by cutting off digits; Albert's skull is a backwards llama braincase.
- French anthropologists from Musée de l'Homme in Paris - analyzed CT scans and determined the J-type mummies are made from baby bones and animal skulls. YouTube videos from 2017-18 with interviews and other material. [interview]
- Genetech laboratory in Sri Lanka - Maria's last two phalanges are from a different individual than the rest of her body (via Steve Mera and Barry Fitzgerald of Birmingham UFO Group).
- Dr Mary Jesse MD, Associate Professor, Radiology, UColorado - joints of Josefina and Alberto are not congruent, i.e. nonfunctional. She told me she asked for hi-res scans and was not provided them. GaiaTV edited her to make it look like she was supporting the idea the J-types were real.
- Drs Linage (orthopedic surgeon) and Ballesteros (radiologist) - Clara's CT scan shows her joints are not congruent, she has no mobility in leg joints, no arm rotation, no hip socket, wrist is one plate, ribs can’t expand, skeleton is not symmetrical.
- World Committee on Mummy Studies (2017) - statement declaring the mummies frauds.
- Dr John McDowell, UColorado School of Dental Medicine - the J-type mummies were never living entities and are composed of multiple species. "It would be foolish to state that these 'bodies' could represent individuals that could have been alive let alone capable of walking, flying or swimming." Regarding M-type he never said she was a new species, but that he'd want to test her hands and feet to ensure they weren't grafted on.
- Drs George Florides and Paul Christodoulides, co-authors of the 2021 llama paper with da la Cruz (who later renounced it): "we still have not seen any study presenting any new information [to contradict our conclusions]... my personal opinion is that Josephina’s head is a lama braincase." They asked The Alien Project for scans of other specimens for comparison, and were ignored.
- This 2018 article by Daniel Galarza Santiago explains the twists and turns of the origins of the Nazca mummies hoax, and details the evidence known at that time which shows they are pieced-together dolls and mutilated human corpses (see Q11-14).
