This list links to each of my Twitter threads critiquing the Telepathy Tapes episodes and videos.
An excellent review of the Telepathy Tapes from Skeptical Inquirer, explaining the problems with all forms of facilitated communication and the simple tests that could be employed (but never are, by believers) to determine who is authoring the messages.
Article by Elizabeth Weir for The Cut (April 2025), which provides more background and context to the development of the Telepathy Tapes and the truth behind some of the outrageous claims made. Take this comment from Dr Powell into account when listening to the Telepathy Tapes:

- Episode 2
- Episode 3
- Episode 4
- Episode 5
- Episode 6
- Episode 7
- Episode 8A
- Episode 8B

- Brief response to Dr Tarrant's article on his use of EEGs with these kids

Dickens invoked "my name, my reputation, my credibility, my credentials" to further her anti-scientific project.
(The timeline given in the article shows that Dickens and Powell's professional relationship was over before the podcast even went into the editing phase, and 4 months before episode 1 was released. Yet Dickens heavily features Powell in the podcast to add a veneer of scientific credibility.)
