Two TV crews visited Ariel in the weeks after the incident. The children were interviewed in large groups. These snippets are out of order, with each child's testimony grouped. I've included screenshots of the children so that any footage uncovered later can be slotted into the correct interview.

- one boy describes a silver thing in the sky lasting 45 seconds, which he thought was a meteorite, and the same thing on Friday.
- the craft that had landed was patterned silver and green, or yellow, purple and green, or it was glittering orangey-red, or maroon
- some heard a flute-like noise
- four girls went close enough to consider and dismiss the idea it was a house
- the figure had a big head, and a small mouth and nose, height as small as 3.5 feet

According to Ariel Phenomenon, Nicole Carter interviewed the children 2 weeks after the incident.

You saw something in the sky, the day before the Friday that everybody saw it at the school. Can you describe that?
Well it was a silver oval thing that flew past really slowly. And then all of a sudden it disappeared.
How long did you see it for?
It was about 45 seconds.
And what did you think it was?
Well I just thought it was - because of the meteorites, there were reports of meteorites. I thought it was one of those. And then the following day when we saw it at the school, then I thought I saw it the day before.
And did it look the same on the Friday?
Yes it did.
So you think it was the same one.
Yes.
And do you believe people can live on other planets, as well as Earth?
Yes.
Why do you think that?
Well they've found plants and that living on other planets, so if there are plants living on planets then I think other people can.

When I went home the day after this incident had happened, I told my mum and she said, actually I don’t believe you but I can’t really say yes, I know, but she said I really don’t think I believe you. And then she said - my dad came home and I told him all about this and he said it was probably just a rumor. I felt really upset because I knew that it was true.
Would you want to talk about it to friends in the future? Or forget about it?
No I don’t want to forget about it. I want to keep it in because I know it was true and I want to talk to other people about it.

And I actually saw this craft in the trees and it was like in a multi-way pattern on it, like silver and green and that sort of color. And then there was this little boy crying so I went up to him to see what was wrong with him and he said he was quite afraid of it. And then that actually made me quite afraid of it because when somebody’s afraid, I get afraid. And then I saw this person and his eyes were like in a slant [traces cheeks], like so, and his mouth was just a line like this.
At the time the teachers were in a staff meeting. So nobody actually went up to go and call the teachers because I think they were too afraid and everything. So - when the bell rang - so somebody eventually went up to one of the teachers, went and said to one of our teachers Mr Vernon[sp?], please can you ring the bell because there’s quite a performance down there, the kids running around.
[Referring to Monday/Tuesday 19-20th] And then somebody from BBC came to us and he went for a walk down there with us with a Geiger counter [referring to Tuesday]. And actually on that [---] over there we could stand up on it, and you could actually see a few burn marks. So he asked us when we were walking down there with him, he said please could you come down with us to go and have a look at the thing. So we walked about - there’s about six poles and if you have a look, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, there were burn marks actually on the ground.
[Referring to Friday 16th] And in the field there on the rocks, the day it happened, there was something glittering quite strongly. And then when we came back to school the next day it was just gone.
[Referring to Tuesday 20th] And also when we went down with him, the burn marks they were just gone like a few minutes later.

I think it was about 5½ minutes when we went down there. Because it was actually quite scary.

And we go down there to get some clay and pieces of art. It’s actually quite interesting because there’s usually ants that crawl on us and bite us. And when we went down there with the BBC we were walking around and we came back and there were quite a few ant hills and I told them, look, there was not a single ant. There were a few dead ones on the floor.
