UPDATE June 2023: Anjali's new message from the Council turns out to be a Nature article - see "Memory issues" section to find out how this could explain Anjali's entire tunnel adventure story.
Medical ailments
Medical records should of course be a private matter until the person wants to reveal them. Añjali has revealed several ailments she's had to deal with over the past few years, many of which can affect brain health. This would appear to be relevant when assessing the likelihood that she is in communication with, and has physically met with, higher beings inside a mountain base in the Mojave desert.
Following are the conditions and illnesses Añjali has openly mentioned:
Ongoing health issues
The day after her Reddit post about her experience, Mar 2, 2021, Anjali listed the medications she was taking:
On Aug 8, 2021, Añjali wrote on Reddit: "IF it were to sadly turn out that I was the victim of some sick, elaborate, and hypnotic scheme, I would only double-down on my resolve and commitment to honesty, responsibility, and transparency, and make it my mission to expose the people behind it. Please understand, all of you who read this — I am not fucking around in any way whatsoever."
On Feb 23, 2022, Anjali wrote in a text message (which she released to the public in March):
"I have confided in a board certified medical psychologist my experience at your home (no names), my experience since, all of my social media and interviews. I have fully submitted to mental evaluations, tests, questionnaires, and I have been found to be mentally healthy, not suffering from delusions, hallucinations or psychosis, or any related mental condition that would explain my ongoing experience."
Following are the conditions and illnesses Añjali has openly mentioned:
- “Memory disruption, difficulty keeping up with conversations” (experienced in 2016) [press conference, Aug 2021]. This appears to have been related to the recurrence of GBS for which she was hospitalized in early 2017.
- GBS (Guillain-Barre syndrome) - two "full-blown" episodes in one decade, the second episode being serious enough to end up in ICU for 8 days in early 2017, followed by 2 months in a rehab hospital [Reddit]; caused parathesis in legs [Instagram], bedridden or wheelchair-bound for several months [daughter's Facebook and podcast]; psychiatric symptoms of GBS may include visual hallucinations, paranoid delusions, disorientation, terror and psychosis. In 2021 she said GBS was a misdiagnosis.
- Three NDEs (near death experiences) [Reddit, Oct 2020] including during her 2017 ICU stay while she was "lingering" and saw recently deceased people [Reddit and podcast, Mar 2021].
- Genetic connective tissue disorder - diagnosed while in rehab [Reddit]; however, on Instagram she was still using GBS hashtags in October, months after her rehab, and she also mentioned having GBS in her press conference. In March 2022 she said she has Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (see below).
- TBI (traumatic brain injury) - time and cause unknown [Reddit].
- Epilepsy [Reddit] and a "seizure with decorticate posturing" (indicates brain damage) [Reddit]. In her hypnoregression she states her seizures cause amnesia, and that the higher beings want her to stop one medication that increases the frequency of the seizures.
- ADHD [Twitter]. She claims the aliens told her to stop taking medication in order to reduce seizures so she could remember better [hypnoregression].
- PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) - from "trauma during military service" [Reddit, where she claims to have overcome it] [Twitter, where she still has it] (Note: ICU stays and serious illness can also cause PTSD - John Hopkins Medicine.)
- Depression and anxiety (related to her illness and TBI) [Reddit]. "I have been evaluated during the course of my medical care, including by a psychiatrist who evaluates for mental health disability for the federal government. I was found to be mentally healthy and suffering only from depression and anxiety related to my general health condition."
- Tinnitus - she suggests that "it is the constant, multi-tonal frequency that is always ringing in both of my ears that creates a synchronization in the two hemispheres of my brain, thereby facilitating easier communication" [Reddit]. (Note: Psychiatric consequences of tinnitus may include anxiety, depressive disorders, hysteria, insomnia, anger, fear and despair, and suicidal thoughts.)
- Lupus [Twitter]
- Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome [Twitter, Mar 18, 2022] - an inherited connective tissue disorder with various degrees of severity and symptoms. [Mayo Clinic]
- ME (myalgic encephalomyelitis) i.e. chronic fatigue syndrome [Twitter, Feb 25, 2024] - symptoms include severe fatigue and sleep problems, problems with thinking and concentrating, pain, and dizziness. [CDC]
- Cancer [Twitter, Oct 3, 2023] since late 2023 requiring surgeries and other treatment.
- Neurodivergent [Twitter, Mar 4, 2024] - Anjali referred to herself as "pretty neurodivergent, so seeking to understand others" after questioning if the people who unfollowed her after she did a mass unfollowing on Twitter had followed as a "clout transaction".
Ongoing health issues
- Añjali says: "I am disabled... I am never returning to work." [Reddit, Aug 11, 2021] and "I am chronically disabled. I have health concerns that periodically take me out of even being able to get online and interact with others. I sleep a lot. I have to, because my body doesn’t restore like it should, not only failing to produce collagen but also my immune system actively attacking my connective tissue throughout my body. It tires me out, just recuperating. And that is only one aspect of my health hurdles" [Reddit, Jul 28, 2021].
- In May 2023 she tweeted that she's unable to sit still since her 2017 ICU stay and declined brain treatment: "There are programs to retrain the brain after ICU trauma, because it's common that patients have residual brain and CNS spinal issues that cause entrainment and functional disabilities. Unfortunately, I declined treatment at a Brain Center in 2018."
- In May 2023 she tweeted that in 2020 she was "tested and found to have all sorts of toxic heavy metal body burden from drinking well water and city water in the Mojave." Assuming she was properly diagnosed, this build-up would have taken place during her ghost and holographic-ET visitations, alien base visit, and initial ongoing communication with ET. Heavy metals in drinking water can cause chronic toxicity, liver, kidney, and intestinal damage, anemia, and cancer. [The 2020 Consumer Confidence Report on Water Quality in the Mojave, by the Mojave Public Utility District, found no evidence of contaminants above allowable levels during 2019.]
The day after her Reddit post about her experience, Mar 2, 2021, Anjali listed the medications she was taking:
- metoprolol (heart)
- Zofran (nausea)
- Potassium Chelate and Calcium-Magnesium Chelate (for mineral replacement)
- Amino Acids
- DAO
- Zyflamend
- corticosteroid regimens when needed

Memory issues
On June 28, 2023, Anjali tweeted this message from the Council that she has "been receiving for some time":
Watch your health, consider staying out of the water this summer, and away from areas that are typically colder & are now experiencing higher temps, like in glacial areas. The Council says that the melting permafrost is causing dangerous parasites, viruses & bacteria that have been sequestered from humanity's immune system via the frozen soil/water for thousands of years to now be released into our ecosystem. Essentially, they say that our ecosystem is becoming more dangerous than humanity has conceptualized, and that it is happening now, today, this moment. They say that we cannot stop it. |
The information is actually from this Nature article dated Sep 30, 2021: "Emergent biogeochemical risks from Arctic permafrost degradation". The media and other organizations reported on the article - for example, this piece from the European Space Agency a few weeks later.
It seems Anjali believes she received the information from the Council (i.e. a voice in her head or a "metadata" download via conscious communication). This gives us some insight into how her brain works: she read the article two years ago, the information percolated in her head ("stressing me out"), she forgot that it came from something she read, and she concluded instead that it was wisdom from the Council.
A similar memory malfunction appears to be responsible for Anjali's entire tunnel adventure memory. She was high on Rick Simpson oil that day, resulting in confused memories (for example, 3 years later she recalled an ambulance came around 10PM when it actually came at 5PM). She has said she forgot all about going into a tunnel when she woke up the next day, and that over time the memories returned (and were forgotten and re-remembered multiple times). She only "daily" recalled the experience from 2020. We now know those memories were largely false - there was never a tunnel on the land, therefore she never entered a tunnel and met aliens in their underground base.
But she absolutely believes that she did. She's even resorted to proposing a transdimensional shift to explain why her hosts don't have the same memories she does. In this universe, Wayne never dug a tunnel, she got high, walked around outside for a few minutes, and an ambulance came at 5PM. In the other universe, Wayne dug a tunnel and took her to meet aliens, she spent 6 hours in their underground base, she was teleported back to his house, and the ambulance came at 10PM.

From the evidence, it seems that when information surfaces in Anjali's brain, she has trouble recalling where it comes from and ascribes it to the wrong source. The 2020 memory of a tunnel adventure in 2018 was actually a story from her imagination based on a fuzzily recalled event when she was high. The voice in her head that she interpreted as a message from the Council was actually the memory of an article she read in 2021.
Anjali has frequently passed along messages from the Council that others point out comes from ancient religions, The Law of One and various New Age sources. While in the past she has denied reading other material, it now seems likely she's simply forgotten that she's absorbed information from other sources. Instead, she ascribes the information to personal revelations from the Council.

Drug use
Anjali has always denied her experiences relate to psychedelics (specifically DMT, which causes some users to experience entities). More specifically, she denied she was on any drugs during her experience on the property where she claims she met aliens inside a mountain. This was proven false when the host couple came forward in February 2022 saying she took highly potent THC (Rick Simpson oil), which makes you stoned and affects memory formation. Anjali's own admission that she forgot and re-remembered the event repeatedly, and that she thought the ambulance came between 10PM-midnight and not at 5PM when it actually came, demonstrate that her memories of the experience are not at all clear. While THC may not have caused hallucinations, it's plausible she mis-remembered her confusing day and came to believe her imagined or dreamed experience of meeting aliens was real.
A timeline of what Anjali has said about her drug use:
A timeline of what Anjali has said about her drug use:
Aug 10: On Reddit, Añjali says she experienced natural DMT release while in the hospital, and took synthetic mushrooms in late 2018. "I haven't ever had DMT, which I think I discussed a few times in different places. Would I today? Maybe as ayahuasca, but it would need to be with a shaman who knows the plant and the ritual. But I also don't feel that I need it today." She says her ego caused her to "overstate" her experience with psychedelics in the 2020 posts (see Timeline).
Note that synthetic mushrooms, 4-acetoxy-DMT, contain DMT.
Aug 18: On Reddit, Max says: "I cannot see how a, or which, drug could possibly produce an experience like hers, and there just isn’t any that I am aware of... I’ve ruled out drug influence (intentional ingestion or otherwise) from Añjali’s experience... she just simply doesn’t take any drugs except her prescription meds (which do not cause any sort of hallucinations)." Max does not specify if he's asked Añjali directly, or if she's told him directly, about any drug use during her initial holographic encounters and the tunnel adventure in 2018.
Aug 20: On Reddit: "I was not under the influence of psychedelics."
Aug 24: On Reddit, she says she has been assessed as mentally healthy. She does not respond to this question: "Did you tell the psychiatrist that you were in psychic communication with aliens and that they are sending you messages?"

After posting her story on Reddit in March 2021, many people (including myself) who thought she seemed to believe her own story questioned whether she had taken drugs that day. Anjali repeatedly pushed back against the idea that she had taken any mind-altering substances:
Nov 4: Anjali admits for the first time that she took "medical cannabis resin" before going to Wayne's house, and says it was "the only thing" in her system.
This admission came two weeks after "Wayne & Trisha" denied her access to their property, and appears to gave been inspired by their threat to do interviews exposing that she took Rick Simpson oil that day (which they eventually did anyway). That Anjali did not admit in March 2021 to being on highly potent Rick Simpson oil when she "met aliens" strongly implies she knew such an admission would destroy her credibility. What set her story apart, since she had no physical evidence whatsoever, was her professional background and alleged clear-headedness on the day and excellent recall afterwards. Her repeated statements that she had not taken "psychedelics" seems to be an attempt to explain that the "medical cannabis" was for her physical ailments and did not affect her mind in any way. She also states it was the only thing in her system, but in a later interview will reveal she was taking a combination of several prescription medications. |
Anjali has also repeatedly mentioned her Rx card for medical cannabis, giving the impression that the cannabis she took that day was legally hers and was not psychoactive. In fact, it was not hers and it was extremely potent THC.
Feb 27, 2022: The real "Wayne" tells Charlie Wiser that he gave Anjali very potent Rick Simpson cannabis oil that day.
Mar 4, 2022: Anjali claims she has "stated all along" that she took medical cannabis on the day. In fact, she didn't mention the medical cannabis until Nov 4, eight months after she first posted her story on Reddit. This is called gaslighting: making you question whether your memory of her never mentioning cannabis before is correct.

Mar 13, 2022: In an interview with Steven Cambian, Anjali lists five medications she was prescribed at the time: Adderall, "heart medication", Famotidin, Cymbalta, Flexeril.
Mar 18, 2022: Anjali says she was "not inexperienced" with cannabis rosin (to justify why it did not affect her mentally), which she has erroneously been calling resin, but also seems to acknowledge that what Wayne gave her may have been something else (something stronger?). She implies the medical personnel who saw her thought she was completely unaffected by the drug, whereas Wayne said he talked to the sheriff about what he'd given her, and that this was the reason the medical personnel released her, knowing it was harmless.
She demonstrates the amount of Rick Simpson oil she took that day.

Why does any of this matter?
It matters because the evidence shows Anjali's entire experience in 2018 was caused by potent THC. While it does not cause hallucinations (in most people), we know it did cause her memories of the day to become confused:
It matters because the evidence shows Anjali's entire experience in 2018 was caused by potent THC. While it does not cause hallucinations (in most people), we know it did cause her memories of the day to become confused:
- She never talked to her hosts on that night, or the next day, or in texts in the weeks afterwards, about meeting aliens on their property - yet she would come to "remember" that she had spent six hours in an alien base between 3PM and 9PM.
- She recalls the ambulance came around 10PM or midnight. The 911 record shows the ambulance came at 5PM.
- Her hosts recall her leaving their home before midnight, not at 3AM like she remembers.
- She says she called a friend to pick her up because she was pacing the house at 3AM, unable to sleep. Her hosts say she was not offered a bed, did not pace the house, and simply talked to Wayne in the living room for several hours, after the ambulance left, until she was picked up. Additionally, she changed this part of the story in April 2022 to say she was pacing at the friend's house after he picked her up, not at Wayne's house before he picked her up.
Anjali gives us another reason for us to think her memories of the day are not accurate:
- In Nov 2021 she sent Wayne & Trisha the bulletpoint list she'd just discovered, and which she says she wrote the afternoon after the experience in 2018. (She released it publicly in Mar 2022.)
- In a clear contradiction, in Apr 2022 she says she woke up the next morning and didn't remember going into the tunnel. (A month earlier I had written here and here about why I don't believe the notes were written until shortly before Anjali "found" them in Nov 2021.)
- She also writes that she'd "go on to forget & recall over & over again". If she forgot even once, logically she could never be certain her subsequent recollection was accurate. Yet she has always insisted her memories are accurate.
One final nail in the coffin regarding whether Anjali has truly been transparent and honest about her experience: in a now-deleted Reddit post, she wrote the following in August 2020 (7 months before coming out on Reddit) in order to explain her belief that one can meet entities on drugs, but that daily meditation is better:
Anjali lists the times she's met entities: on drugs, during NDEs, comas and meditation.
Notice what she doesn't list or even allude to?
So, back Aug 2020 it seems she didn't recall her 2017-18 experiences. At some point during the next 7 months she must've "remembered" them in order to write about them in Mar 2021.
The evidence shows Anjali's memories of her experience are extremely messed up. She refuses to acknowledge this, not even to the couple she genuinely harmed, let alone the people in whom she instilled a vain hope of irrefutable evidence of benevolent ET on Earth who just wanted to save us from ourselves. All because she got stoned.
She simply moved on.
Notice what she doesn't list or even allude to?
- meeting a holo-entity while watching Netflix in Dec '17 and at a firepit in Jan '18
- meeting physical entities in a mountain in Jan '18.
